Ministry of Interior showcases cutting-edge products in International Government Achievements Exhibition in Duabi

Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha'far, the Undersecretary of the Ministry Interior said that the ministry, with the follow up of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, is working to achieve the vision of the higher leadership to making customers happy through delivering the world best services to achieve the goals and vision of the UAE 2021.
In a statement during his visit on Sunday to the Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition held at Dubai World Trade Centre, Al Sha'far highlighted the keenness of the Ministry to develop and use the latest smart applications that enhance the happiness of customers and improve the level of services provided to them. He pointed out that the exhibition provides an important platform for the ministry of interior to showcase its state-of-the art ambitious projects and initiatives geared for delivering high quality services. 
Al Sha'far expressed his satisfaction with the audience's interaction with the ministry's unique platform, stressing the importance of activating the channels of exchange of best experiences, discussing innovation in government services, disseminating the knowledge of intelligent governance of its services and maintaining competitiveness in the world arena in order to anticipate the future. .
The Ministry of the Interior is presenting a series of innovative projects at the exhibition reflecting its cutting-edge services aimed at making customers happy. 
Col. Nasser Kahdim Al Kaabi, Director of the Customers Happiness Department and General Supervisor of the Ministry's platform, said that the participation comes in line with the directives of the police leadership and reflects the vision of the UAE 2021 to highlight the most important innovative development projects in line with the international standards and specifications.
He said that the ministry reviewed a range of its services and innovative projects, which included the customers' happiness management system, smart gates, the Dolphin Fire and Accident Control System, an Emirati innovation to detect forged passports and documents, and an ambulance driving simulator. 
He pointed out that customers' visits management system is an important electronic system to monitor the performance of customers' happiness centers and to measure the productivity of front-line employees through the central follow-up room at the ministry. 
The Ministry's pavilion includes the e-ports project to facilitate travel procedures, which is one of the leading projects in the UAE. They system allows citizens and residents to use electronic gates and finish travel procedures in less than 10 seconds. Passengers will also be able to complete their travel procedures electronically after the check-in phase as they pass through sophisticated electronic gates.

Visitors to the exhibition can learn about the Dolphin, a system for fighting fire and accidents. It acts as the first responder to the fires of ships and buildings on the coast. It has a great firefighting capability from the top, provides fire engines with water and provides 6 lines for firefighters with island fires and is easy to handle in terms of rescuing the drowned and those trapped in narrow places and islands where it is difficult for large fire boats to access. It also fights fires on the coasts and combat cars fires on bridges during congestion times. It also provides equipment for the urgent support of firefighters.
The Ministry also presents a UAE-made invention - a reader designed to electronically detect forged passports and documents. The invention reflects the Ministry of Interior's keenness on keeping abreast of developments.
The National Ambulance presents the advanced simulation device for the ambulance car. It is one of the latest innovations that is used for the training of paramedics, and has been developed to meet the needs of the national ambulance and commensurate with the nature and quality of the roads in the UAE. It is used for training purposes which is part of a comprehensive training package based on the latest simulation techniques the paramedics get before exercising their profession and periodically during their service.
The device is a four-dimensional model that provides trainees with an interactive platform that simulates the real driving of the ambulance in terms of controlling the steering wheel, pressing the brake, speeding, rotation, etc. Trainees sit behind the wheel to experience realistic scenarios whereby their driving styles and their adherence to the approved emergency response protocols will be observed and tested.
