ECSSR Briefed on the MoI's Best Practices

The Emirates Center for Strategic Research and Studies (ECSSR) in Abu Dhabi has been briefed on the Ministry of Interior's (MoI) efforts and practices in the preparation of the Ministry's Strategy 2014-2016. The Center has also been briefed on the work procedures in a number of departments including the General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development, the General Directorate of Community Protection and Crime Prevention, the Security Media Department at the General Directorate for Security Support, the General Secretariat of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.


The visit aims at enhancing joint cooperation and sharing expertise and the best practices to achieve the vision of the two parties. 


Colonel Mubarak Awad bin Merhroum Al Ameri, Director General, the General Directorate of Community Protection and Crime Prevention has met the visiting delegation chaired by Abdullah Al Saiedi, Acting Deputy General Manager for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Center. The delegation has learned about the establishment of the General Directorate, its work procedures, organizational structure, tasks and the affiliated departments.


The delegation has also visited the Security Media Department where it was received by Colonel Saeed Al Khajah, director of Air Support Department, Major Ahmed Naseeb Al Mansouri, Head of the Strategy and Performance Development, MoI General Directorate of Security Support and a number of police officers. 


Al Mansouri has given a detailed description about the Department's nature of tasks, organizational structure, and its experience in government communication.  


The delegation has also visited the Benchmark Center at the General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development, Ministry of Interior. Lt. Colonel Mubarak Saeed Al Kaleeli briefed them about the Ministry of Interior's strategic plan including its vision, goals and mission. Lt. Colonel Nihal Abdurrahman, from the Center, has also briefed the delegation on the role played by the General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development in supporting all the Ministry of Interior's sectors.
