A Delegation from the recruits of the Senior Leadership Program for Operation Officers at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) reviewed the latest security experiments, initiatives and practices that fall under the competences of police operation centers department in the state of the New York, USA. 

This came during a visit by the delegation headed by Brigadier General Dr. Ali Salem Al-Tunaiji, Director General of Federal Central Operations at the Ministry to a number of security and police services in New York State in the United States.

The delegation visited the New York Police Strategic Responder Department and heard a brief explanation of its role in monitoring and analyzing security events and directing the competent units to support and support police units in the various security zones in the state.

He also visited the emergency department and was briefed on the latest security equipment for the emergency management personnel and the tasks that manage the emergency management and respond to them within the specified security tasks.

The delegation visited the New York State Police Academy and was briefed on the training programs that prepare and equip police officers, including a virtual training base and a simulation system that enables police to learn how to deal with emergencies, crises and crime.

The delegation also visited the Central Operations Department in New York and was briefed on the modern techniques used to monitor and follow up the daily events that fall within the mandate and the mechanism of work at the main operations center in the direction and follow-up of all police units to ensure the achievement of command and control in the management of security events.
