MoI Takes Part in International Crime Scene Investigation Conference in South Korea
A delegation from the UAE Ministry of Interior (MoI) took part in the International Crime Scene Investigation Conference 2018, which was held in Seoul, South Korea. Several delegations from countries around the world also took part in the conference.
The delegation was led by Ali Abdul Wahhab Al-Hammadi, Deputy Director of Crime Scene Management at Ministry of Interior. The conference discussed a number of topics related to the crime scene, combating crime and its discovery, the industrial revolution and the future of criminal and police sciences. The delegation visited the Crime Scene Department in South Korea, where they learned about the administrative departments and the mechanisms used in the different crime scenes, the way the Korean police responded to the daily reports, the number of centers containing On crime scene units.
The delegation was also briefed on the mobile bus where fingerprint matching is carried out at the crime scene, the results are identified, as is the room of the Psychiatry and Lying Unit, the places for training and the assessment of examiners.
The delegation of the Ministry of Interior included Captain Rashid Rashed Al Saridi from the General Directorate of the Federal Criminal Police, First Lieutenant Ibrahim Al Hosani, Lieutenant Mohammed Al Balushi and Lieutenant Saleh Al Hammadi from Abu Dhabi Police.
