Sharjah Police Chief instructs creation of "internal accelerators" to reduce crime rates in the emirate

In a meeting with the directors of the departments at the General Directorate of Police Operations, Brigadier Saif Al Zarri Al Shamesi, Commander-in-chief of Sharjah police has discussed a number of topics to follow the progress that has been made in implementing the strategic plan at Sharjah police. 
The meeting has discussed the strategic outcomes and the overall performance at the departments affiliated to the police operations. It has also tackled the progress that has been made in implementing the National Agenda Targets 2017-2021.
Brigadier Al Shamesi has been briefed on the indicators of the crime level in the emirate in general and on the alarming crimes in particular. He has also been informed of the initiatives and the plans which may help increase the sense of safety. 
During the meeting, he has instructed the creation of "Internal Accelerators" program to push the pace of work ahead and to intensify efforts towards increasing the feeling of safety and decreasing crime rate to the minimum, to achieve the national agenda and the UAE vision to become one of the world's safest and most secure countries. 
Al Shamesi has urged police officers to work as a team, to positively face the challenges, to adopt creative ideas and to consolidate the culture of the institutional excellence among all the employees.
