8th edition of the Education Interface Exhibition kicks off in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of Saif bin Zayed

Under the patronage of Lt. Gen. HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the 8th edition of the Education Interface Exhibition and the Middle East Youth Conference opened in in Abu Dhabi at the Jiu-Jitsu Arena in Abu Dhabi under the slogan "Fifty Years of Education Empowerment.

The hybrid event along with workshops is held in person and virtually with the participation of more than 230 specialized educational institutions and organizations. The opening was attended by HE Eng. Awaidah Murshid Al Marar, Chairman of the Department of Energy in Abu Dhabi, HE Faraj Ali bin Hamouda Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bin Hamouda, HE Dr. Moza Saeed Al Badi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Education Interface Exhibition, as well as a number of officials from relevant ministries and government and private institutions, along with a huge turnout who witnessed the opening ceremony and toured the exhibition.

The exhibition will run for two days in person, while the virtual platform is set to continue to welcome exhibition visitors, including specialists and students looking for academic future disciplines and educational advice on labor market-oriented disciplines and future professions.

The Ministry of Interior is taking part through its pavilion with a number of specialized directorates concerned with education, rehabilitation, capacity building and skills, including the Ministry’s General Directorate for Competency Development, the Khalifa Empowerment Program "Aqdar", the Police College, the Selection and Appointment Department, as well as the Ministry of Interior Youth Council.

Visitors of the exhibition will be briefed on the efforts of the Ministry in the areas of academic studies in police fields, training methods, developing competencies, youth empowerment and development of skills in line with the Ministry’s vision and mission in enhancing community security.

All over the exhibition, through the pavilions of the participants, the most important disciplines that fit the trends of the labor market and future professions will be presented. Educational advice on the nature of future trends, educational changes and professional paths will be offered to visitors who will also learn about the trends of science and labor markets after the Covid-19 pandemic.

As for the Middle East Youth Forum, it is a platform through which youths from all over the world discuss their most important issues which they see as future challenges. They will try to hammer out the best solutions based on the principle of future foresight and knowledge of advanced sciences and AI technologies.
