Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, on Sunday attended the signing of a Memorandum of understanding, MoU, between the Ministry of Interior, MoI, and the New York Police Department, NYPD, regarding joint training and sharing of best practices.
The MoU was signed by Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director-General of the UAE's Federal Criminal Police, and Chief Thomas Galati of the NYPD Intelligence Bureau.
Earlier, Sheikh Saif met Galati at the ministry headquarters.
The signing of the memorandum and the meeting were attended by Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Shafar, Undersecretary of the Ministry, Major General Salim Mubarak Al Shamesi, Director of Finance and Services at the Ministry of Interior and a number of officers.
