A delegation from the Ministry of Interior (MoI) took part in the Virtual Global Taskforce (VGT) Meeting recently concluded in Ottawa, Canada, with the participation of the VGT Board that includes member countries, the private sector and public benefit organizations.
The meeting discussed a number of project and strategic and operational initiatives; it also adopted the outcomes of previous projects. The private sector participated with law enforcement agencies in workshop on protecting children from online exploitation, victims in the legal system, investigations on the dark net, enhancing mutual work mechanisms, and promoting international cooperation to counter the risks faced by children.
