Saif bin Zayed attends launch of Qatar’s Information and Communication Technology Exhibition

Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, attended on Monday the opening ceremony of the 4th Qatar’s Information and Communication Technology Exhibition and Conference, QITCOM 2017, in Doha.

Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani opened the three-day event which is organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communication in Qatar. 

QITCOM is being held under the theme "Qatar towards a Smart Future" with the attendance of a group of senior officials from the GCC, the Arab region and the world. 

Sheikh Saif has arrived to Doha today and received at the airport by Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. 

Sheikh Saif was accompanied by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs; Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General at the Ministry of Interior; Major General Jassim Al Marzouqui, Commander General of Civil Defense; Bridger Eng. Hussein Ahmed Al Harthi, director general of electronic services and Communications at the ministry; Brigadier Mohammed Humaid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, director general of Strategy and Performance Development at the ministry; Brig. Dr. Salah Al Ghoul, director of the Law Respect Culture Bureau; Brig. Mohammed Al Nua'imi, Director General of Firefighting, Protection and Safety and an number of police officers at the ministry of interior.
