Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, reviewed the latest preparations for the Arab Gulf Security 2 Exercise hosted by the UAE and scheduled to kick off next February.
His Highness listened to a brief from the members of the higher committee of the joint mobilization exercise of security forces in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, on the preparations for the exercise, as well as the committees’ plans to make this event a success, and achieve its strategic objectives in promoting joint action and the region’s security.
Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, Chairman of the Joint Higher Committee of the Arab Gulf Security 2 Exercise; Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police; along with a number of heads of the exercise’s higher committees and MoI officers, attended the meeting that was held at the MoI’s headquarters today (Sunday).
