In collaboration with Etihad Rail the Civil Defense General Command hosted an inaugural workshop on train fire situations in railway tunnels. The workshop is part of the Federal Engineering Committee’s work and was moderated by an international expert from the University of Edinburgh. It aims to train and qualify Civil Defense engineers and inspectors on the latest developments in train fire prevention and safety in railway tunnels, as well as railway tunnels design parameters.
