Ministry of Interior celebrates UAE 45th National Day

The Ministry of Interior celebrated today the UAE 45th anniversary of the National Day, in a bid to express the staff's gratefulness and appreciation to the visionary leadership for its unceasing efforts to provide honorable life, security and stability for all citizens and expats living in the UAE.
The Ministry's different departments and sectors as well as the police GHQ'S across the country witnessed extensive celebrations in which staff members have expressed their joy of this dear occasion and renewed allegiance and belonging to the wise leaders and to the soil of this nation.
The Legal Council at the Ministry of Interior, in conjunction with the Public Relations Department, celebrated the occasion by organising an event" fingerprint of pride", to express joy and affiliation to the country.
A big number of police officers, non-commissioned officers, personnel and female staff at the Ministry of Interior put their fingerprints dyed with the colours of UAE flag onto the map of the UAE.
Brigadier Dr. Rashid Sultan Al Khidr, Deputy chairman of the Legal Council said that December the 2nd of the year 1971 is a dear occasion to our hearts, a day on which we remember the late founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may Allah rest his soul, who, together with his brothers rulers of the emirates, fulfilled the dream of unity through tireless efforts and strong determination that eventually culminated in the creation of a model country in terms of cohesion, harmony and stability.
On behalf of all the Ministry's staff members, he extended warmest congratulations and felicitations to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and to the their Highnesses Rulers of the emirates, to Lt General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and to the UAE people; praying to Allah Almighty to protect the UAE and to ķeep it blessed with security, progress and prosperity.
