The National Security Institute (NSI) affiliated to the Ministry of Interior's Privatisation Department celebrated the UAE 45th National Day occasion, in the presence of Colonel Khalid Saeed Al Shamesi, NCI Chairman of board of directors, Lt Colonel Saeed Al Shamesi, Director of the Private Security Companies Organisation Department at the Ministry of Interior, and a number of private security companies directors, as well as a number of guests.

Colonel Al Shamesi highlighted the importance of this occasion in the history of the UAE which commemorates the founders of union, the huge achievements made throughout the Federation's procession, and the massive development of the Ministry of Interior under the leadership of Lt General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

He said that celebrating the National Day is pride for citizens and expats living in UAE soil, praying to Allah Almighty to keep our beloved country safe and to protect President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and their Highnesses Supreme Council members Rulers of the emirates.

The event started with the national anthem which followed by recitation of verses of the holy Quran. Then a variety of shows were presented, including a film featuring the UAE achievements and massive progress, interviews with a number of NSI administrative staff, and traditional songs and dances presented by the Children's hertige band.
