The Khalifa Student Empowerment Program, Aqdarorganised on Friday a parade of 300 ridersrepresenting 16 teams,to mark the UAE National Day celebrations .
From ADNOC petrol station at Yas islandto the Abu Dhabi Corniche, the parade is held as part of the express your love for UAE initiative, which was launched by Lt General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior with the aim of consolidating loyalty and positive affiliation to the UAE, according to Colonel Dr Ibrahim Al Dabal, General Co-ordinator of the Program.
community members includingyoungsters, children and families carrying UAE flags have attended the event with the riders to express their love for the country, in a beautiful image that highlighted their celebration of the National Day while also abiding by traffic rules, indicated Al Dabal.
A group of Abu Dhabi police teams and patrols including a helicopterhave successfully secured the event and organized the traffic.
