Major General Ali Abdullah bin Olwan Al Nuaimi Commander-in-chief of Ras Al Khaimah police, in the presence of a number of police officers, honored 1st Sgt. Samir Abdullah Habbabi,RAK traffic policeman, for his positive initiative to create and implement the campaign "buckle-up and smile". The campaign aims to raise public awareness of the importance of wearing seatbelts.
Al Habbabi urgedmotorists and passengers to buckle upas he was standing on the roadwith a big smile on his face, leaving a positive impact among them.His attitude perfectly fits with the ministry of interior's strategy which calls for maintaining proper behavior.
RAK Police Commander-in-chief said that this honoring is in response to the public's requests through social media. He confirmed that RAK Police is ready to support and motivate creative people coming up with inspiring initiatives that serve policing and security work. He praised him for his role in promoting communication and strengthening relationship between Ras Al Khaimah policeand the community.
For his part, Sergeant Sameer Abdullah Al Hababi thanked the Police Commander for the nice gesture and also thanked all the police staffat RAK Police for their cooperation and efforts, stressing that he will spare no efforts to serve the interests of the UAE.
