Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior visited on Wednesday the 39th edition of the GITEX Technology Week (GITEX 2019), taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 6 to 10. The event features 4,500 government entities and international IT companies.

His Highness Sheikh Saif toured the exhibition and checked the projects and services showcased by the different participating ministries and private companies, which serve the digital progress in the UAE’s IT sector. He also examined the wide array of technologies exhibited, such as robots, cloud computing, 5G and emerging technologies and was briefed by exhibitors about the latest innovations in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Smart Cities and Smart protection, safety and power management systems.
