A delegation from the UAE Ministry of Interior (MoI) led by Brigadier Mohammed Ali Al Shehhi, Head of Human Rights Department at the ministry took part in a workshop organized on the sidelines of the 42nd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) convened in Geneva.

During the one-week visit, members of the delegation will be acquainted with work methodologies of the UNHRC, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and human rights treaty bodies. They shall also attend panel discussions conducted by several countries with the Committee on the Rights of the Child.
