A training course titled "Management and Organization of Sport Events" has discussed different topics including managing of sport events, forming of organizing committees, and the challenges facing sport events.
Concluded at the headquarters of the Abu Dhabi police college, the course was organized by the Police Sports Federation in collaboration with the Training Department and the Development and Research Academy for of Sports Science Activities in Dubai "DRASSA".
"The course was held as a preparation for organizing the Second USIP World Police Games to be hosted by the UAE next November in Abu Dhabi", said Brigadier Waleed Salim Al Shamesi, director general of Police College.
This important event receives a lot of support from Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime minister and minister of interior, stressed A Shamesi, urging the committees to avail the course and overcome any challenges, thus making the event a success.
Adel Abdulrahman al Hammadi, Police Sport Federation board member, Colonel Arif Al Rayes, director of the Police Sport Federation, and Dr. Ahmed Al Shareef, Chairman of DRASSA were present at the ceremony.
