(GDOPSE) launches "With our Children" Initiative to support Year of Giving

The General Department of Organizations, Protective Security and Emergency (GDOPSE), Dubai police, organized a ceremony to honor the children of the staff members as part of the Year of Giving initiative.

The ceremony was attended by acting director of (GDOPSE) Brigadier Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri, and Colonel Eng. Mohammed Al Bastaki, director of the Transport Security Department, in addition to the honored students and their parents.

"Marking the Year of Giving, we did not find any good endeavor better than encouraging top achieving students", Al Marri said addressing the event.

Our initiative "with our children" aims to bolster community communication among the entire staff members, he further said, adding that prizes will be presented to top achieving students.

"You are the generation we bet on in the future to build an advanced nation, I hope you will be worthy of the trust your parents have put on you to become leaders", said Al Marri addressing the honored students.

He pointed out the GDOPSE is striving to implement the strategy of the Dubai police GHQ which calls for engaging with all the community segments including the students.
In conclusion, Al Marri, accompanied by Brigadier Rashid Al Falasi, Colonel Tariq Kalantar and Colonel Arif Murshid honored the top achieving students who expressed their delight at this nice gesture.

Al Marri thanked Al Durra private school, the initiative's sponsor, and honored it with a medal.
