The SAAED Traffic Systems company announced that entries of the "# invent with us" traffic contest will be received via innovation@saaed.ae, as from Sunday March 19th until April 17th, 2017.
Held in partnership with the Emirates Youth Council, and the Ministry of Interior's Innovation Center and the Youth Council, the contest aims to promote the youth's role and the culture of innovation in the society.
Top three winners will get cash prizes of 20,000, 10.000, and 5.000 Dirhams respectively. The conditions will be available on SAAED's social media platforms at UAESAAED.
Brigadier Eng. Hussein Al Harthi, SAAED's Chairman of the board of directors said that the contest encourages the public to come up with innovations to help curtail traffic accidents and to ensure safety.
He called upon Emiratis, residents in the UAE and in the GCC countries aged 15-35 to participate in the contest by presenting innovative applicable and easy-to-use projects and technological solutions that may serve to minimize the impacts of using mobile phones and smart applications by road users.
"Innovations should promote the ministry of interior' role in achieving the "zero road deaths" in the UAE, Al Harthi added.
