Ajman Police GHQ has concluded its celebrations of the 33rd GCC Traffic Week held this year under the theme "Your Life Is a Trust".
Ajman Police's events included a traffic exhibition; daily cultural, sport and recreational activities; gifts for the public; visits to the emirate's schools and nurseries, and delivering of awareness lectures.
Other awareness initiatives such as "Take a Flower, Not a Ticket" and "Charity and Safety Headsets" were also among the Week's events that were organized by the Media and Public Relations Section to educate motorists about the dangers of traffic offences and using mobile phones whilst driving.
Deputy Director of Traffic and Patrols at Ajman Police Lt. Colonel Saif Abdullah Al Falasi has honored the participants who contributed to making the event a success. He said that Ajman police celebrates the GCC traffic week with the aim of increasing public awareness about traffic to further achieve safety for all road users.
He added that Ajman police is making determined efforts to prevent serious accidents by raising traffic awareness among the public.
