New Fully-Electric Cars Join Ministry of Interior’s Vehicles Fleet
The Ministry of Interior (MoI), represented by the Transport and Workshops Department, added several new all-electric and green vehicles to its fleet of patrol cars, in line with the ministry’s efforts to boost eco-friendly practices.
Brigadier-General Juma Ahmad Hamel Al Qubaisi said that introducing eco-friendly electric vehicles to fleets of traffic and police patrol vehicles reflects the firm belief in the importance of promoting the widespread adoption and sustainable use of all forms of renewable energy and reducing carbon emissions and other toxic and harmful residues.
Adding further, Al Qubaisi said: The ministry endeavors to implement global standards for environment protection. The introduction of our eco-friendly electric vehicles reflects the ministry’s commitment to community responsibility and to implementing relevant initiatives within the local community that would eventually protect the environment and ensure sustainable environmental development.
