Saif bin Zayed attends ceremony for third batch of Customer Service Excellence Diploma graduates
Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, directed changing the Customer Service Excellence Diploma's name to "Customers' Happiness Diploma", as part of his keenness on upgrading customers services, as well as of his support to the program in achieving the leadership's aspirations to have the government's services exceeding the expectations of customers.
These comments were made by Sheikh Saif on Monday while attending the graduation of 410 employees from various governmental and police sectors at the Armed Forces Officers Club in Abu Dhabi. The recognized employees are the third batch of Customer Service Excellence Diploma.
He called for intensifying efforts to make the UAE one of the best countries in the world, in line with the UAE vision 2021, through focusing on the efficiency in service delivery.
He congratulated the graduates and praised the private sector partnership with the Ministry of Interior and other stakeholders for their efforts in improving customer service. He wished the best of luck to the graduates as they serve their nation.
The ceremony was attended by HE, Ali Al Kaabi, Chairman of Customs Federal Authority, Lt General Saif Abdullah Al Shafar, Undersecretary of the ministry of interior, Major General Dr. Nasser Abdullah Lakhrerbani, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of Resources and Support Services, Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector-General of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdul Aziz Makoutm Al Shareefi, Director-General of Protective Security, Major General Salem Al Shamesi, Director-General of Finance and Services, Major General Omair Al Muhairi, director General of police operations at Abu Dhabi police, Brigadier Saif Al Zarri Al Shamesi, Commander in Chief of Sharjah police, and Hessa Buhumaid, Executive Director, Government Services Sector, Prime Minister’s Office.
The ceremony began with playing of the national anthem, which was followed by recitation of verses of the Holy Quran. Then Director of the Customers Happiness Department, Brigadier Nasser Khadim Al Kaabi delivered a speech in which he commended the huge support of the police leadership and partners in making this diploma a success.
This graduation is an extension of the UAE 45th national day celebrations and of the achievements made by UAE loyal people. Since its inception by late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may Allah rest soul, the Government has been adopting transparent policies. The same trend of pioneering and excellence is being followed by President His Highness, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makoutm, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Al Kaabi added.
"For the third year, the Ministry of Interior has carried out this diploma, which is accredited by the International Business Training Association, in collaboration with Etisalat academy in order to sharpen the skills and increase the knowledge in the field of customers' happiness", Al Kabbi further said.
"The Ministry of Interior is proud today to have these elite national cadres successfully passed and completed the program's requirements which lasted for 4 months", Al Kaabi noted.
HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior honored the batch's top achievers as well as the partners of the Program.
