MoI Personnel Achieve Advanced Rankings in Specialized Courses in Kuwait
As part of their participation in a series of specialized courses on explosives in Kuwait, a number of Ministry of Interior’s personnel managed to obtain prestigious advanced rankings.
First Warrant Officer Rashid Juma Al Rezzi ranked first in the Field Survey course, while Warrant Officer Saif Ali Al Shamesi and First Policeman Mohamed Al Habsi bagged the second and fifth positions respectively in the same course. Lieutenant Tareq Ali Al Habsi ranked third in the Explosives Licensing Foundation Course; and both First Warrant Officer Mohamed Hamad Al Salami and Captain Abdulaziz AbdulRahman Al Sharhan ranked second and fourth respectively in the 10th Advanced Counter-Terrorist Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) course.
Brigadier Hamid Al Humaid, Director General of the Weapons and Explosives Directorate General at the Ministry of Interior stressed the importance of partaking in such specialized training courses, in partnership with the Kuwaiti counterparts to boost performance and ensure readiness. He also commended the performance of the Emirati ministry’s personnel in these courses, which proves their competence and skills and reflects the efficiency and good preparation of police bodies.
