The Security Sector and the Courts Department in Ras Al Khaimah have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to consolidate ties of partnership and cooperation.
The MoU also aims to exchange expertise and achieve the best performance to ensure an appropriate working environment, in line with the best standards.
The MoU provides for the establishment of a joint liaison office, the creation of online cooperation mechanism, coordination in releasing statements to the media and in publishing of studies and research, participation in training courses, cooperation in areas of community protection against the negative effects of family problems, sharing of know-how and developing joint strategy to publish legal awareness.
According to the MoU, which shall be valid for a period of five years, the two parties undertake to implement its provisions to the best of their interests.
The MoU was signed by Advisor Ahmed Mohammed Al Khateri, head of the Courts Department in RAK on behalf of the Courts Department whereas it was signed by Major General Ali Abdullah Olwan Al Nua'imi, Commander-in- Chief of RAK police on behalf of the Security Sector.
