The Civil Defense at Al Fujairah has conducted last Wednesday a drill to fight a mock fire that erupted on the City Center shopping mall in the emirate.
The drill was in line with the ministry of interior's strategic goal to ensure the preparedness of its staff members in responding to crisis and disasters.
The scenario involves a big fire that occurs at the City Center Shopping Mall in the Fujairah emirate. The civil defense teams have professionally responded to the accident and could control and extinguish the fire using the latest equipment as per the approved local emergency plan.
Such mock drills which are designed to depict an actual or assumed real-life situation are excellent tools for training of rescue teams to respond to any risks using the best technologies.
