For the third day in a raw, Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior on Tuesday continued his inspectional tour of the International Defense Exhibition and Conference, IDEX 2017 being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADNEC.
He toured various pavilions and briefed about the latest defense and security equipment and technologies being showcased by national and international exhibitors.
He visited the pavilion of the Republic of the Sudan where he was received by Sundance Defense Minister General Awad Mohammed Ahmed ibn Awf. Sheikh Saif was briefed there about the arms and equipment produced by the Sudan's Military Industry Corporation.
His tour also included the stands of Lenco Armored Vehicles and SIG SAUER Firearms where he was briefed on their products and security solutions.
He also stopped at the stand of L3 technologies Company and briefed about its night vision devices and other products. He also visited the stand of the Saudi Advanced Electronics Company which offers unique experience in cybersecurity.
During his tour, Sheikh Saif also visited the Ahmed Al Mazrouie Innovation Center where he listened to briefings on the latest innovations at the Center.
His visits also included Mazkal Company, NVS for military vehicles, Nissan motors, Tawazun Defense and Military Vehicles Industries, and Remah international group for firearms and military equipment.
