The Ministry of Interior and the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) discussed the mechanism of preparing and developing financial plans in a bid to strengthening strategic partnership between the two sides.
A ministry of interior's delegation headed by Brigadier Adel Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Director of Financial Affairs at the General Directorate of Finance and Support Services, was briefed on the best practices applied by the RTA in areas of general finance.
Al Hammadi explained that the team of finance and support services in cooperation with the ministry's seven-star standard team discussed with RTA a number of topics of common interest.
Ahmed Al Kaabi, Executive Director, Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai, gave an overview of the Authority's system to identify rationalization and revenue growth opportunities across its various sectors which contributed to increasing revenues and eventually improving performance to the better.
The delegation of the Ministry of Interior praised the Authority's efforts and keenness to apply the best global practices, a thing which reflected on the advancement of its work as well as on enhancing environmental, economic and social sustainability factors.
Brigadier Adel presented a memorial shield to the Authority, in the presence of a number of officers, civilians and experts from the Ministry of Interior.
