Deputy Chairman of Police and Public Security in Dubai Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim directed that immediate steps be taken for implementation of developmental projects at Dubai police operation room to keep abreast with the development witnessed in Dubai emirate in all walks of live.
Dhahi paid today an inspection visit to the Communication Department of Dubai police where he was briefed about a number of developmental and innovative projects prepared by the departments' police officers. These projects are intended to improve the performance of police operations, including patrols monitoring, communication and roads, and public calls response systems.
He met there with Brigadier Eng. Kamil Butti Al Swuaidi, director of the General of Operations Department; Brigadier Omar Abdul Aziz Al Shamesi, deputy director for operations Affairs; Brigadier Dr. Khalid Al Marri, director of Communication Department and a number of police officers.
He was also briefed about other programs among which one that helps identifying the locations form where calls are made, and another program that ensures monitoring of roads by using highly advanced sensor cameras.
He lauded these efforts and directed these projects are executed in short span of time.
