The Air Wing Department at the General Directorate of Security Support at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) took to the air on reconnaissance missions in cooperation with the National Center for Malaria and Communicable Diseases at the Ministry of Health and Prevention. These missions aim to examine water collection areas in wadis, dams and mountainous areas in the Northern Region that are often believed to increase malaria incidence risk, in a bid to identify standing water sources across the Northern Region and the Eastern Coast and develop the appropriate plans to prevent Malaria.
