The guidelines for the committee members charged with examining the nominations for medals and badges in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries was reviewed at a workshop held on Monday in Abu Dhabi . The guidelines were adopted by GCC Ministers of Interior and were intended to train the committee members on how to apply these guidelines in their countries.
The workshop contributes to strengthening cooperation and coordination in the field of institutional excellence among the GCC countries, said Brigadier Khalifa Mohammed Al Zaabi, Director of Training Department at the General Directorate of Human Resources at the Ministry of Interior and Head of the UAE Delegation.
He said that this workshop is held in response to the decisions of the Interior Ministers of the GCC States, which approved the draft of the guide that was prepared by the General Directorate for Strategy and Performance Development on the directives of His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior to implement the standards of excellence in the screening on nominations for medals and badges in the GCC countries.
He expressed his thanks to the GCC Secretariat for its outstanding efforts to enrich such meetings in the framework of the common security effort
Captain Mohammed Al-Hinai, of the Department of Institutional Excellence in the General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development at the Ministry of the Interior gave a detailed presentation of the guidelines, indicating the technical bases and selection criteria for the existing nominations.
