In partnership with strategic partners, the General Directorate of Sharjah Civil Defense executed a drill on extinguishing a fire in a shopping mall in Al Hazana area in Sharjah. Brigadier Khalifa Kalendar, Director of Police Comprehensive Stations at Sharjah Police General Headquarters attended the drill, accompanied by Colonel Sami Al Naqbi, Director General of Sharjah Civil Defense. The drill aimed to promote the readiness of the human element, vehicles and equipment; and ensure their highest preparedness to deal with any emergency. Teams from Sharjah Police General Headquarters, Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority, Emirates Red Crescent, National Ambulance, Sanid volunteer team and National Coordination and Response Office participated in the exercise.
