More than 780 players from 47 countries to participate in Second USIP World Police Games

Lt. General Saif Al Sha'far, Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior, was briefed on the preparations of the Organizing Committee for the Second USIP World Police Games, which will be hosted by the United Arab Emirates in November in Abu Dhabi under the slogan "Raise Your Flag" with the participation of more than 780 players from 47 countries.
The Ministry of Interior is seeking to make this World Championship a success, to reflect the leadership of the UAE in hosting important international events.
The Organizing Committee of the Championship, reviewed at a meeting chaired by Al Shafar at the headquarters of the Ministry on Wednesday, the arrangements made to host the tournament which is held for the first time in the Middle East, with the UAE as the first Arab country to host it . The participants will compete in many sports, including swimming, tactical shooting, judo and jujitsu.
Al Sha'far expressed his satisfaction with the preparations made for this tournament. He called on the work committees to intensify their efforts in order to ensure the success of the important international sporting event and to effectively promote the UAE's leading position in organizing major international events. 
He stressed the keenness of the Ministry of the Interior to provide all the technical, material and human resources necessary for the success of this international event.
The Tournament's director, Brigadier Waleed Al Shamesi, and a number of heads of the committees reviewed the current preparations, including the ideas for the opening and closing ceremonies and recommendations of the technical committees. They gave an explanation about the Forum of the Second World Games of Police, which will be held next week. The forum is intended to support the tournament facilitate exchange of views and experiences about the tournament. 
They also presented a technical presentation about the tournament, which featured the logo and the mascot of the event, the number of participating countries, the games that were included in the tournament, the fields to host the games, among others.
