Ministry of the Interior discussed the mechanisms of developing fitness tests to raise the capabilities of police staff members and to ensure their sound health through the medical examination carried out prior to these physical tests.
In the presence of all members, the Committee held its meeting which was chaired by Brig. Mohammed Humaid Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Acting Secretary-General of the Office of HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sports Police Association in his office at the Ministry's headquarters.
The meeting has approved the results of the physical fitness tests of the last year; discussed the obstacles that faced them, the ways of avoiding these obstacles, and the advantages of these tests for the ministry of interior's staff members.
Al Dhaheri reiterated the police leadership's keenness on police sports, in line with the ministry's strategy in spreading sport and physical fitness among all its members. This will have a positive impact on the health of the police members, a part from enhancing their physical, psychological and mental abilities so that they can carry out their duties in the best manner.
