The Institute for Community Police and Police Studies at the Ministry of Interior has implemented a total of 1.147 training courses since its inception in 2010. These courses have benefitted 19.589 employees and members of the public 

Colonel Mubarak bin Merhroum, director general of Community Protection and Crime Prevention and also director general of the Institute has affirmed dedication on pursuing the Government's vision and the continuous directives by Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior who has always been keen on ensuring that the institute will act as an important scientific and training hub in the region. 

"The institute, the first of its kind in the UAE, and on the regional and Arab levels, was firstly established to implement specialized training courses in community police sciences and police sciences in general", pointed out Colonel Mubarak. 

"It was then expanded to offer more courses on management, security and public safety, problem-solving, dealing with hazardous materials, languages and simultaneous translation", he added. 

Apart from offering Computer courses with focus on IT security for regular users, the institute has also been accredited as IELTS and ICDL centers. 

Executive director of the Institute, Major Tariq Al Junaibi noted that the institute is equipped with all educational methods and specialized labs, and is staffed with highly qualified and experienced teachers presenting around 300 training packages in various disciplines for the employees of the ministry of interior and the member of the public.
