Colonel Hamad Rashid Al Za'abi, deputy director of the Federal Investigation Department of the Federal Criminal Police General Directorate at the Ministry of Interior (MoI), participated in the training course entitled "Strengthening Border Management Mechanisms and Document Verification Procedures " organized by the International Organization for Migration IOM - UN Migration Agency, in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Interior in Kuwait.

In a lecture he delivered, Colonel Zaabi addressed the role of the security personnel in detecting cases of human trafficking especially at the border crossings. He also reviewed the United Nations Convention against Organized Crime and the protocols thereto, as well as the best practices, and preventive measures to combat human trafficking crimes.

A number of officers of the Ministry of the Interior in Kuwait participated in the course.
