MoI offers all opportunities to develop staff competencies

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has affirmed its keenness to make available all kinds of opportunities to develop the competencies of its staff members, and enhance their skills to meet the objectives of the ministry and its strategic plans, to ensure the sustainability of excellence.
Brigadier Mohammed Humaid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Acting Secretary General of the Office of HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, announced on Sunday as he attended the launch of the Second Senior Leadership Program organized by the Creativity and Leadership Development Center at the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with Oxford University. 
Al Dhaheri said that the successful completion of the training programs would produce a cadre that ensures continuous effective leadership and productivity; and maintains the Ministry of Interior's keenness to develop forward-looking leadership and improve services in a way that reflects the outstanding journey of police in the country. 
Lt. Col. Dr. Omar Ibrahim Al Ali, Director of Creativity and Leadership Development Center, said that the second senior leadership program is one of the supplementary programs organized by the Center. It reinforces intellectual and cultural skills to preparing a group of outstanding leadersat the Ministry of Interior.
He pointed out that the programhas a number of objectives,including the development of intellectual and cultural skills, strengthening the leadership and basic competencies that support the standards of institutional excellence and innovative approach. He noted that the program contains a number of important stages and characteristics such as attending conferences, seminars and leadership and academic meetings inside and outside the country.
Al Ali stressed the keenness of the Ministry of the Interior to provide all the necessary capabilities and requirements to push the participants towards excellence, urging national cadres to redouble their efforts and to get ready to join the set programs aimed at refining and developing skills and leadership capabilities. 
He valued the programs organized by the Center, which he said are based on the best international practices in cooperation with the best universities and institutes in the world, such as the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge in the United Kingdom. He said that the Centerattractshighly experienced and internationally accredited lectures, to help develop the potential of human resources in accordance with the ministry's strategic approach, as well as to exceptionally improve the participants' levels.
