General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nua'imi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police received a delegation from the Department of Weapons and Explosives at the Ministry of Interior headed by Brigadier Hamid Saeed Al-Afrit, Deputy Director General of Security and Ports Affairs and Chairman of the Coordination Committee for Weapons and Explosives at the Ministry of Interior.

The visit aims at strengthening cooperation between the police GHQS and the Ministry of Interior and achieving the Ministry of Interior's strategic objective of enhancing security and safety.

The delegation was alsoreceived by Brigadier Abdul Aziz Ali Al Shamesi, Director General of Police Operations and Brigadier Omar Al shams, Director General of Resources and Support Services.

Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police welcomed the delegation, stressing the unity of the ministry's departments, the importance of cooperation and exchange of expertise among them, and intensifying efforts to achieve the Ministry of Interior's strategy in the field of weapons and explosives.

While touring the operations departmentto review the work procedures, the delegation praised the outstanding progress and excellence of the Ajman Police in the work modern methods followed at the explosives department and the operations room. The delegation was also impressed with the procedures which are dedicated to ensure accuracy and efficiency in dealing with the dangers of explosives suspicious objects, to further protect the public against the hazards of fireworks and explosives of various types. 

At the end of the visit, the Commander of Ajman Police honored the members of the visiting delegation for their efforts in enhancing cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of weapons and explosives, wishing them success and excellence in the carry out their functions.

The meeting was attended by Col. Ali Obaid Al Shamesi, Director of Strategic and Performance Development Department at Ajman Police, Col. Mohammed Sheiban Suwaidan, the director of the Commander's Office and Col. Ali Humaid Al Musaybi, Deputy Director General of Resources and Support Services at Ajman Police.
