Hassantuk announces details for building safety system registration

Hassantuk, the cutting-edge building safety solution currently being installed across the UAE, has announced details of how to register shops, malls, warehouses and commercial buildings along with apartment blocks, hotels and public buildings including schools, hospitals and other public places.

Hassantuk is a strategic Public-Private initiative between the UAE Ministry of Interior and Injazat Data Systems, the region’s foremost IT strategists, and is designed to increase the efficiency of emergency services responses to all fire and life safety emergency alarms through a state-of-the-art smart system that helps to shorten response times and increase response efficiency to all emergency events across the UAE, helping to reduce danger to life and damage to property.

Building owners, landlords and their representatives can register for the system via the Hassantuk web page at www.hassantuk.gov.ae and at Tas’heel offices throughout the UAE. Hassantuk will announce further expansion of the registration facilities in the near future. The fees payable include the annual MOI registration fee and the one-time installation charge.

Colonel Expert Ali Almutawa, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Hassantuk, stressed the importance of registering commercial buildings in the Hassantuk system, in order to contribute to the protection of life and property. The system provides the best standards for safety and fire prevention in support of the objectives of UAE Vision 2021 to make the UAE one of the safest countries in the world. He also pointed out that Hassantuk provides innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency of building safety, improves the emergency services response and maximizes community safety.

Speaking on the announcement, Atif Al Braiki, Director of Strategic Projects at Injazat Data Systems, said: Our principle mission is to provide a system that shows care for the nation by helping to protect lives and property from fire and other life-threatening situations, which has led Injazat Data Systems, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior, to develop Hassantuk with the prime objective of creating additional safety for society whether at home, at work, or in any public building across the nation. By using extremely effective data from fire alarm systems in buildings, and ensuring that all safety systems receive regular maintenance, Hassantuk augments the effectiveness of these systems and provides added protection for people and property.

All building owners across the UAE are legally required to register and subscribe to the Hassantuk system and the full registration mechanism and details can be found on the Hassantuk website via https://hassantuk.moi.gov.ae/
The fee structure is based on a series of five categories, which are defined by the building’s classification in terms of the square footage of the property, building height and the area of land covered.

Under the authority of UAE Cabinet Resolution No. 24 of 2012 and Ministerial Resolution No. 505 of 2012, the system provides an additional layer of safety and security in line with UAE Vision 2021 and Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 commitment to make the United Arab Emirates one of the safest countries in the world.
