The Ministry of Interior (MoI), represented by the Directorate General of Punitive and Correctional Establishments, and in cooperation with the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, launched the Zayed Award for Quran Memorization that targets inmates of the MoI Punitive and Correctional Establishments.
This came during a visit by Brigadier Hamad Khamis Al Dhaheri, Deputy Director General of Penal and Correctional Institutions to Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, where he met with Hamad Salem Bin Kardous Al Ameri, Director General of the Foundation.
Brigadier Hamad Khamis Al Dhaheri, Deputy Director General of Penal and Correctional Institutions, said that the launch of this award, which amounts to AED 250,000, comes within the framework of the integration of institutional work and the importance of the role of strategic partners in supporting the process of rehabilitation of inmates of correctional and correctional institutions and strengthening their religious motivation. Their behavior is in line with the strategic indicators of the Ministry of Interior and fulfills the vision of the United Arab Emirates.
