Ajman Police GHQ has launched a traffic exhibition as part of it activities during the 33rd GCC Traffic Week which began on Sunday under the theme "Your life is a trust".
The exhibition was inaugurated by Brigadier Ahmed Abdullah Al Hamrani, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ajman police in the presence of Colonel Mohammed Khalid Al Nuaimi, director of traffic and patrols, Colonel Thani Al Matroushi, director of human resources and a number of head departments and police officers.
Then Al Hamrani, alongside other officials, toured the exhibition where they were briefed about the technological devices such as CCTV cameras and smart phones showcased by the Telecommunication and Communication Services Section and the Operations Department. They were also briefed about the vehicles showcased by Ajman Civil Defense Department and SAAED for Traffic Systems.
Showcased products also included awareness publications, and handicrafts, carpentry and tailoring works prepared by inmates of the punitive and correctional establishments.
"The exhibition is intended to achieve the objectives of this GCC traffic week's theme, to enhance traffic awareness among the general public and to achieve the ministry of interior's vision which is based on accomplishing the highest safety measures for road users", said Al Hamrani.
He added that Ajman police is making tireless efforts to enhance levels of traffic awareness by implementing periodical traffic programs.
Marking the GCC traffic week, Ajman police will deliver a series of awareness traffic messages targeting the youth as well as wide array of public events across the emirate, Al Hamrani pointed out.
