The Civil Defense General Command at the Ministry of Interior (MoI), in cooperation with the regional civil defense departments, , launched the Safety at Kindergarten initiative. The initiative comes in line with the Our Students ... Our Responsibility awareness campaign launched at the beginning of the new academic year.

The initiative includes directing field visits to kindergartens in the UAE through specialized teams that provide children with special awareness materials that contain the principles of prevention and safety risks that are commensurate with this age stage.

The initiative also includes the visit of children to the regional civil defense departments and centers spread throughout the country, to identify the mechanisms and equipment used in the operations of fire, rescue and ambulance, as well as to arrange a practical and theoretical activity for prevention and safety in kindergartens, including training on evacuation and how to deal with emergencies
