Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy PrimeMinister and Minister of Interior was briefed on Wednesday about the Gold Standardinternational accreditation granted to the MoI’s Support Services Sector in the Health and Wellbeing category by Investors in People (IIP) UK,the most prestigious accolade for assessment of government projects.  Major-General Salem Ali Mubarak Al-Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services, briefed His Highness on theimportance of obtaining such an accreditation, as well as the implementedcriteria and standards that made this win possible. Present at the meeting wereBrigadierMohammed Obeid Al Dhaheri, Director General of Human Resources at Ministry ofInterior, Brigadier Adel Abdulrahman AlHammadi, Director General of Finance and Support Services andBrigadier Nasser Khadim Al Kaabi, Headof the Customers Happiness Department, along with several officersand the award team.   MOI  is the first  police institution  in the world  obtaining this prestigious international award"the golden category, and the first at the level of government agencies inthe Middle East, Thus , this  is a  counted as a new achievement added to the achievementsof the ministry in its endeavor to promote leadership and excellence.   Major-General Salem Ali Mubarak Al-Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services, ,confirmed that the achievement comes  asa result of the efforts of the work as a team in accordance with accuratestandards and high-level requirements.   He pointed out that obtaining the certificate was after  the support and guidance of the policeleadership and an embodiment of the MOI's strategy of applying global bestpractices, keenness on leadership and excellence in providing high-qualityservices, and it is a  reflection of theMinistry's commitment to quality and government standards of excellence andupgrading institutional performance.
