The Ministry of Interior has recently published an introductory book which intended to spread the culture of job capacity assessment, in a bid to anticipate the future and achieve the concept of total quality and corporate excellence.
Director of the Creativity and Leadership Development Center at the General Secretariat of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Lt Colonel Dr. Omar Ibrahim Al Ali urged the government and private institutions, and the concerned educational and training bodies to get a free of charge electronic copy of the book by e-mailing the center on leader_center@moi.gov.ae.
The book was prepared in line with the Year of Giving initiative which aims at consolidating social responsibility, and within the ministry's vision and strategy to serve both institutions and the members of the public, noted Al Ali.
The book is meant to upgrade the performance into a strategic level through guidelines assessing the employee's performance in modern methods, thus contribute to achieving the goals and identify hidden capacities.
The book also describes important trainees' assessment methods in accordance with psychological tests, further added Al Ali.
The Ministry of Interior has earlier launched a book on psychological and career assessment system. It is an innovative methodology corresponding with its strategic trend aiming at measuring the capacities of employees and trainees at the ministry of interior and defining their strengths.
