Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior met with His Excellency Peter Dutton, Minister for Home Affairs of Australia and the accompanying delegation in the city of Al Ain.

During the meeting, both parties discussed several topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance and strengthen cooperation between the two countries, in policing and security areas.

The meeting was attended by H.E Dr. Obaid Al Hairi Salem Al Ketbi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Security and Military Affairs; Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaiaili, Head of the Institutional Development Council at the Ministry of Interior and Brigadier. Also present were several officers from the ministry, members of the accompanying delegation and H.E Ms Julie Shams, Australian Ambassador to the UAE.
