Sharjah Police Commander General Brigadier Saif Al Zarri Al Shamesi met at his office with Captain Humaid Al Kindi, the Sharjah Police representative at the Ministry of Interior's Youth Council.
The Council held its first meeting on Wednesday in the presence of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bins Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Brigadier Al Shamesi was briefed about the key recommendations reached during the coordinative meeting between the Ministry of Interior's Youth Council and the Emirates Youth Council.
He was also informed of the ministry of interior's initiatives to empower the role of the youth so as to contribute to the journey of development through encouraging them to take part in the voluntary works and the events organized across the UAE. He was also updated about the ministry's efforts to inspire the youth to engage in the awareness campaigns and to deliver their suggestions which could promote the values of community responsibility and contribution.
Declaring his full support for these initiatives, Brigadier Al Shamesi has also emphasized that he will provide all resources to put HH the minister's directives, and the meeting's recommendations into immediate action.
