MoI Organizes Extended Activities on the World Breast Cancer Day
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in cooperation with the Social Security Fund for the Employees of Ministry of Interior (Fazaa) organized extended activities to spread awareness on breast cancer in October the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Held at the MoI headquarters, the activities come in line the efforts to support and spread awareness of breast cancer, as well its causes, prevention means, diagnosis, treatment and healing.
The event was attended by Major General Salem Ali Mubarak Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary of MOI for Resources and Support Services, Major General Abdulaziz Maktoum Al Sharifi, Director General of Preventive Security at the Ministry, Brigadier General Mohammed Humaid Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the Office of HH the Interior Minister, Brigadier Mohammed Obaid Al Dhaheri, Director General of Human Resources and Colonel Nasser Khadem Al Kaabi, Director General. Excellencies, general directors, directors of departments, a number of officers, non-commissioned officers, individuals, civilians and women from various sectors of the Ministry of Interior.
The events included a realistic story about an inspirational experience in the fight against breast cancer and defied pain and aches.
The "Pink Caravan" participated in an awareness lecture delivered by Nurse Jamila Ibrahim Mohammed and free medical examinations were provided to female employees working in the Ministry.
Participated in the exhibition accompanying the event Zayed Foundation for People of Determination, the Social Solidarity Fund for the employees of the Ministry of Interior `` Fazaa '' with awareness leaflets and the distribution of vouchers free examination to the employees of the participating hospitals, clinics and medical center.The Ministry of Interior issued a memorial poster in the form of breast cancer logo.
At the end of the ceremony, Major General Al Shamsi accompanied by Colonel Al Kaabi honored the strategic partners and a number of supporters and the ceremony and sponsors.
Later, the Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services and the audience toured the exhibition accompanying the event.
