Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior honored in Al Ittihad Hall at the Police College the winners of the fifth edition of the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award, the Director General Category in the Undersecretary and the Assistant Undersecretary for Security sectors. The honoring comes in recognition of their efforts to win the Award, and in line with the Ministry’s strategy to promote the excellence culture among its staff, develop their skills and capabilities, and develop performance in different sectors.

The honoring comes in accordance with the directives of the police leadership and its keenness to motivate the distinguished and urge them to exert more effort and excellence, which contributes to improve the level of security performance in line with the strategic values of the Ministry of Interior.

Al Shafar stressed in his speech on this occasion his keenness to honor the distinguished people to motivate them to exert more effort and giving in the belief that this is a motivation and incentive for all employees to carry out the tasks and duties assigned to them to the fullest and continue excellence and achieve more achievements.

He said that the Ministry of Interior attaches great importance to the distinguished people who work sincerely in order to improve the security and police work and maintain the unique status reached by the UAE and the security and stability blessed by them, stressing that this honor comes from the sector's belief in the importance of this in raising morale and stimulating capabilities.
