Ministry of Interior Interacts with "Flag Protectors" Initiative
Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs reiterated the ministry's commitment to support and participate in the national initiatives involving its role in providing security and stability.
He praised the" Flag Protectors" initiative recently launched by the "Watani Al Emarat" Foundation for its role in promoting the national identity and publishing concepts of belonging, loyalty, community responsibility and social cohesion.
Based on its responsibility towards raising generations on the love of national values, the Ministry is devoted to interacting with such initiatives, Al Khaili indicated.
Al Khaili received Dirar Balhoul Al Falasi, Director- General of "Watani Al Emarat" Foundation who briefed him on the "Flag Protectors" initiative- one of several celebrations to commemorate UAE Flag Day.
Present during the meeting were Major General Mohammed Al Awadhi Al Menhali, acting Assistant Undersecretary of Resources and Support Services, Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector-General of the Ministry of Interior, in addition to a number of police officers at the ministry.
