Saif bin Zayed Meets with Minister of Education at Police College

Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior met on Wednesday with H.E Hussain Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education who visited the Police College in Abu Dhabi.

Upon his arrival to the College, H.E the Minister of Education was greeted by Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Mohammed Humaid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the Office of His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Brigadier Waleed Salim Al Shamesi, Director General of the Police College in Abu Dhabi. Also present were members of the Police College’s Board of Directors.

Al-Hammadi was briefed on the various programs offered by the Police College in the academic, training, cultural and sports aspects, and the role of the College in the preparation and rehabilitation of qualified and trained security cadres in accordance with the best international standards, and the services provided to students through its modern facilities.

His Excellency the Minister of Education listened to a brief explanation from a group of candidates about the academic, training, applied and physical fitness programs received by the students, the duration of the study and the course evaluation system and tests at the Police College.

The Minister gave a presentation titled "Education and the Future" in which he discussed the pillars of developing the education system in the UAE, to enhance the level of advanced science and technology and to consolidate the moral values of students.

He also touched on the theme of the Emirates School, a comprehensive development package covering all aspects of the general education system, which includes many advanced technical and applied educational tracks, in addition to the standard UAE test, which is divided into three main sections.
He pointed to the subject of integrated continuing education, which aims to develop the education system to achieve the desired goals in providing modern and modern education for all groups and linking the student to the labor market and the development of curricula, care and student activities.

He also reviewed the higher education system in the UAE, its types, levels and geographical distribution in the light of the needs of comprehensive development.

Brigadier Al-Shamsi gave a detailed explanation of the Police College and its departments and departments and the tasks and duties carried out by the training and educational programs offered by the Police College to graduate police officers of the highest level of competence to engage in various areas of police work and gave an overview of the e-learning program applied at the Police College.

The Director General of the Police College stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Interior to apply advanced curricula in training and educational programs focusing on the qualification of associates in accordance with the strategy of the Ministry of Interior to provide outstanding services to enhance public confidence and increase customer satisfaction with the services provided to them according to the best international standards.

At the end of his visit, the Minister of Education expressed his pride and pride at the Police College, stressing that it is truly a scientific and academic academic pride, in which every human being is proud of the high-level organizational preparation that will enhance the security of citizens and the homeland.

His Excellency Hussein Al Hammadi was accompanied by a delegation comprising Aisha Ghanem Khalfan Al Marri, Director of Evaluation and Examination Department, Eman Ahmed Salem Manout, Curriculum Specialist, Dr. Fatima Al Mazem, Chairman of Education Council, and Paul Judith, Specialized Examination Specialist, Ministry of Education.
